Zimbabwe and Goblins are practically the same classic duo as Puerto Rico and Chupacabra or Scotland and Nessie. Everything strange, unusual and mystical in Zimbabwe (South Africa) is attributed to goblins – supernatural beings, often invisible, who adore to mischief people.
On the outer edges of all that is mysterious and unexplained are the strange, often incomprehensible, encounters with human-like beings experienced by people the world over. These highly strange encounters are often personal experiences and are therefore difficult to verify, unlike for example, some poltergeist activity, such as in the cases of Guyra, Tarcutta and Cooyal where there may be scores of witnesses.
Since mankind first saw its own reflection, we have been fascinated by surfaces that cast our image back to us. Possibly because of that fascination, there is an incredibly wide variety of superstitions, myths and urban legends surrounding mirrors specifically and reflective bodies in general.
